Baely Spur...the most tiring activity of em' all (Camp Series Ep -4)

Bealey Spur...Yes, it is the most tiring activity at camp but
what exactly is that? Well it is a track which is really long on
top of a mountain. Even though it was really long we only
walked up to 3km, and about 1 km from the sea level. Even
though it was not as high as Mt. Everest it was really tiring. We
had to make multiple stops for rests. Anyway that was a brief
intro read on to find more about it. By the way, my name is
Albin and this ep-4 four of Camp Series  that you are reading.

So just as I said, it was really hard going up baely spur in the beginning. It felt like I was carrying a ton and walking but it was ok when we kinda reached the top. After 2-3 hours of walking, our hard work finally paid off. The view was astonishing, mind -blowing...Take a look yourself.

At the beginning of the walk I felt like I am going to faint halfway, but after the first 30 mins I was able to walk at ease. I didn't even feel a thing. After we got up the top Mr. Robertson (Our Principal) told that we could put mud on our right cheek. I didn't do it, but it sure did seem fun.

What was your longest walk that you have walked?
Have put mud on your face before?
What is the most tiring thing you have ever done?

Tell me down below, in the comments. So that is it for today guys,  hope you enjoyed my blog. One more thing, this is going to be my last blog for this term. If you want more after term, just comment down below.

Until after term, Bye :)

Are you afraid of the dark? (Camp Series Ep-3)

Hey reader or blogger. So this is the question for
today...Are you afraid of the dark? If you are then
don't worry almost 1/4th of the people around the
globe are afraid of the dark. You have lot of
companions 😉😉. Anyway this blog is kinda based on
that. In this blog I am going to talk about
The Sensory Trail It is a trail that pushes
your senses' limit. Read on to find out
how it works. By the my name is Albin here and
 this is Camp
Series that you are reading. Hope you enjoy.

So what is sensory trail? It is game that you play in the dark, either with companionon or not. It is just blindfolding yourself and walking through a trail. We did it in the forest where there was a lot of roots and trees. It was pretty hard. Anyway, you guys could make a route at your house or school, put a blindfold on and play this game. It is pretty fun to be honest. I am really sure you guys would have tons of it(unless you are afraid of the dark).

Anyway that is it for today guys. Hope you enjoyed.

Will you give this game a try at your house or at school?
Have played any kinda similar game before?
How was it if you have played it before?

Leave me your answers down below. It would be my pleasure to hear them. If you have anything else to share please comment down below.

The trip to Devil Punchbowl...(Camp Series-Ep 2)

Devil's Punchbowl...no..no..no. It is not what you think it is.
It is not at all related to devils. It is completely different.
Comment down below what you think it is...Ok fine,
It is a really high waterfall situated between two humongous
mountains in Arthur's Pass. Have you visited it before?
Read on to find about the experience I had at Devil's
Punchbowl. By the way I am Albin and this camp series
Ep-2 that you are reading.

As you know Devil's Punchbowl is a waterfall located in Arthur's Pass. So we went on a walk to reach the top and see the waterfall. It was a really icy and cold walk. On the way there we experienced snowfall, but not the normal snowfall. This time snow and water was falling down from the tree even though it was not raining outside. It was really strange. Here is a fun fact about the waterfall for you. It is 131m high. It is as large as your football field at your school that has been laid vertically. Anyway here are some photos on the trip to the waterfall.

While walking through the tracks to get to the waterfall, it was extremely cold. Thankfully, I wore lot of jackets and gloves to keep myself warm. Have you gone there before? Have you at least been to Arthur's Pass before? If you are planning a trip then you should definitely visit this waterfall.

Have you been to Arthur's Pass before?
Do you have any upcoming camps that you are busting to tell about?
Have you gone one camp before?

Anyway that is it for today guys. Hope you enjoyed it.

First Online Student Summit Ever...

Yes that is true. We had our first online student summit ever. We didn't even need to move from our seats! This was not only the first online summit but my first time attending one. Hello, I am Albin, from YMS. So now you probably know what the blog is going to be about.

I learned a lot of new stuff. I learned how to make
  • A game in Gamefroot - It is a simple online game maker. After creating the game you could publish it on a blog.
  • Pixton Comics - The best comic maker ever! You can control how the character looks, how it moved, its position almost everything. It is awesome for comic making if you are a complete beginner.
  • Draw shapes on scratch - There is block adding button on the bottom left corner that allows you to add a group of code. Inside that add the pen group. "Pen down" means the line will come when the character moves. And "Pen Up" means the line would not appear when the character moves.
  •  Miro - Then I learned about an online whiteboard that you can share with others to write down some ideas or just to use it as a whiteboard. Check it out. It is cool when your friend is away and you need to work on a project with them.

Student summit is really cool.

Were you there during this student?
Were you presenting?
What was your favourite tool?

Snow can be really icey (Camp Series-Ep 1)

A camp is something that I have never went on before, until 2nd of September. Yes that is true, we went on a camp on 2nd of september. It was a 3 day long trip. As I expected it was a ton fun. It was my first camp as well as my best camp. Oops...I forgot tell you where we went (silly me...). So went to Arthur's Pass for the 2 nights and 3 days. We did a lot of activities. So right now you are reading a blog series about camp. On this blog I would be writing about my trip to Arthur's Pass.

On the way there we made a stop at Castle Hill. It was covered with snow. I slipped twice in it. And also, it was my first time actually walking on snow. And that is not it. I can go on, but this not about me and snow. So castle hill is basically a hill. We stopped there for morning tea. We saw to people hanging from the stone. They must have been doing rock climbing. Have seen or touched snow before? You must have at least seen snow. Anyway we stayed there for maybe an hour or so. It was the first time I started getting tired of seeing snow. Anyway here is a dlo that I made, completely through Programming. Hover over these photos.

This our way to castle on the bus. It was a really, really, really comfy ride.

This is me with my friends

This is everyone in a group photo.

That is it for today guys. From now on I would add a bit of interactive stuff like these on most of my blogs.

What was your latest camp?

Where was it to? I am really sure it was fun.

Did you like this interactive bit that I added at the end of the blog? If you did then I will make sure to add more in the coming blogs.
