Simplifying fractions is a piece of cake...(Matariki Maths)

Is maths easy for you? Well it is easy for me. That is also my favourite subject. The only problem with maths for me is that I make careless mistakes. Anyway what do you think of maths? Do you love it or hate it? In this blog I will tell you how to simplify fractions. If you learn how to do it and practice it a little bit then you are a master at simplifying fraction.

Here is a dlo that I made that shows you how to simplify fraction using the G.C.F / H.C.F method. It is super simple.

See that is not that hard. Is it? Tell me down below in the comments what you think? Anyways, to get better at simplifying fractions is practice. "Practice make a man perfect"
What do you guys think of maths?
Do you like it?
Anyway that is it for today guys. Hope you enjoyed this.
Until next time, BYE.

Kites were not always used for recreational purposes...(Matariki Kites)

Did you know that kites were used to mark the start of matariki? Well I didn't know that. If you hadn't known that then kites were used by maori to mark the start of matariki. It was believed to be a connecter between the physical world and the spirit realm. Read on to find out more. By the way, if you don't know me, I am Albin from YMS. Ok now that the introduction is over, let's get into it.

So as you know kite flying is used to mark the start of matariki. It was used by maori. Nowadays it is called 'manu aute'. Manu means both kite and bird and aute refers to the cloth covering the kite. Anyway here is a dlo that I created about matariki kites.

One more thing. Did you guys know that international kite festival is held in India? I didn't know (even though I used to live in India for about 10yrs.)

Anyway that is it for today guys. Hope you enjoyed it. If there is anything I missed out, please let me know.

Running long runs just isn't my thing....

Yep... that is true. I hate long runs. It might be the fact that I don't have that much stamina, but still I was a disaster for me. I was walking the most time. Maybe next time onwards I could practice pacing myself and get more stamina. Maybe the problem was that I was running a lot before the race(since I am the sport captain).  Also I had just stand in the sun for more than 30 mins. By the way if you don't know me, I am Albin.

We had to run around 2-3 kms. Even though I was walking most of the time, I managed to be the first yr 8 boy to enter (I came first since there were only 2 boys 😅), and the 4th totally.

Here are some of the images of cross-country that happened yesterday.

That was my first and my last cross-country in YMS. That is because I only joined last year july. It has only been one year.

Well for cross-country is really hard for me.
What about you?
How will you perform in a 3km long run?

That is it for today... I hope you enjoyed this...
So bye....
