Gérard Mourou

Gérard Mourou was born in France. He was the winner of Nobel prize in Physics 2018. He was born on 1944. He completed his PhD at 1973, from the Pierre-et-Marie-Curie university at Paris. He created a laser lights that ultrashort high-intensity laser pulses without destroying the actual material. That kind of laser is used in scientists now conduct tests. He didn't work alone. He had a partner named Donna Strickland. He worked at the University of Michigan.

    Wow, Gérard Mourou sounds like a very intelligent man. You've included some great information about him and explained why he won a Nobel Prize very well. Are you interested in science?

  2. Hello Albin, its me Parwin!

    Its great to see that you have completed another activity! You have included great information about Gérard Mourou and now I know some things about him! You also included the Attribution Link for where you got the photo from!

    This reminds me of when I did this activity and I chose Malala. She won the noble peace prize. She has written some books and really want to read them because it included her story and although I already know it, the book included more about it and includes her feelings as well.

    I think that to improve, maybe you could present it on something or make it more eye catching!

    I know you like Science but there are different fields of science or topics, what would you want to know more about or study?
